Background
Project scope
We designed a coating-workshop logistics transformation for six wide production lines. Each line has a stated width of 3.3 m. The project focuses on automatic raw-material delivery to coating-machine infeed points and finished or processed material transfer from coating-machine outfeed points to downstream workshop buffering.
The handled material is heavy roll material. The design basis uses a raw-material size basis no greater than 800 x 3,300 mm and a combined material plus air-shaft weight no greater than 2,500 kg.

Challenge
Heavy-load constraints
The logistics equipment must support heavy roll movement while maintaining docking accuracy at the coating-machine interface. The handling constraints include incoming roll diameter up to 800 mm, incoming width up to 3.3 m, material plus air shaft no greater than 2,500 kg, finished roll plus shaft no greater than 2,500 kg and finished roll diameter up to 800 mm.
Workshop coordination
The system must serve six production lines without blocking coating-machine access. Material must move from raw-material preparation to coating-machine infeed, then from outfeed to downstream buffering, with task state visible to operators and managers.

Approach
Logistics flow
The planned flow separates raw-material inbound delivery and finished-material outbound transfer. AGV tasks are generated around line-side demand, roll storage status and downstream buffer availability.
Storage and dispatch system
The system includes storage-location management, AGV task dispatch, vehicle monitoring and production-area visualization. WMS/WCS style coordination supports task calls, inventory state and equipment-side transfer.

Multi-device access
The dispatch interface is shown across desktop and mobile-style devices in the engineering brief, indicating that operational visibility is intended beyond a single fixed terminal.

Expected value
The design turns heavy roll movement into a controlled AGV logistics process. It reduces manual heavy-load handling, clarifies how raw and finished rolls move around six coating lines and gives the workshop a dispatch-visible material flow.
